Robin Winkle
STORY:
Robin Joleen Winkle was bom on January 4, 1959 in Winfield, Kansas; the daughter of Gary and Vera (Kirkpatrick) Ostrander.
She graduated from El Dorado High School in 1977. On February 18, 1978, she was united in marriage to Harold Bruce Winkle, Jr. She worked for the Butler County Clerks office for several years. She enjoyed reading, crafting, and most importantly being a mother and grandmother.
Robin passed away on April 12, 2024 in Wichita, Kansas. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Harold; daughters, Jessica (Bryan) Giesecke and Katie (Matt Althouse) Winkle; grandchildren, Deklan and Braden Giesecke and Lucas and Emma Althouse; siblings, Neal (Robin) Ostrander and Kami O'Donnell and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
THE BROKEN CHAIN
We little knew the day that God was going to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly, In death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you
But you didn't go alone.
For part of us went with you The day God called you home.
You left us peaceful memories.
Your love is still our guide, And though we cannot see you You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one the chain will link again.
